all knowledge was tacit and subject to change, and while i had a good inclination on where the campaign was headed, if it took an unexpected turn i would be scrambling for resources to make the session exciting. The second reason is similar to the first, i would never have anything written down. here is a world that i have crafted with passion, and i'm the only one not allowed to play in it. This is a problem because it ensured that i was going to be the only DM of this world ever, and that really bummed me out. I alone had a perfect sense of it's technology, history, culture, theology, geography, and overall campaign themeing. the first is that i was the only one who knew the vision and direction of the world. I have always had difficulties running home brew campaigns for two reasons. Hey folks, I have started a new experiment recently and the results were too good not to report on.
